Help In A Crisis
If you are concerned about your own or another person’s immediate safety, call the University Police at 404-413-3333 on campus or 911 if you are off campus.
If you need to speak with a mental health professional and you are a student in crisis, the Counseling & Testing Center is open for emergencies from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
If you are a student in a crisis during our business hours, call the Counseling & Testing Center at 404-413-1640 or come to the Center at 75 Piedmont Ave., NE, Suite 200 A, and ask for the on-call counselor. You will be asked to complete some paperwork. However, if you feel unable to do so because you are in such significant distress, you may complete it later.
If you need help during the Counseling & Testing Center’s off-hours, call 911 or the 24-hour mental health crisis line at 1-800-715-4225.
