On campus, call Public Safety at 404-413-3333 or 678-891-3940 for assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Students who have a mental health related concern that is not life threatening should call the Counseling Access Line at 678-891-4105 during regular office hours (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.).
Students who are in severe distress and think that they may harm themselves or someone else should go to the nearest hospital emergency room, call 911 or contact Public Safety at 404-413-3333.
Students who have a mental health concern that is not life threatening after regular business hours should call 770-278-1300 to reach a Georgia State University after-hours counselor. Students can also contact the Georgia Crisis and Access Line at 1-800-715-4225 any time 24 hours, seven days a week.
