Areas of Clinical Interest: Taylor has previous experience providing clinical social work services in several settings. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults in residential eating disorder and substance use facilities, as well as in various capacities in hospital settings. Taylor provided clinical leadership and assisted The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in opening their Crisis Stabilization Unit in October 2018.

Taylor Ford is the assistant director of Counseling Services and is a Diplomate and Certified Cognitive Behavioral therapist through the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. Taylor has worked as an adjunct instructor at The University of Iowa, teaching motivational interviewing/interpersonal skills lab and advanced practicum seminar in-person and online through distance education. In her free time, Taylor enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends and her dog, Piper.
